EDTMPS, Ethylenediamine tetramethylphosphonic acid sodium is a nitrogen-containing organic polybasic phosphonic acid mainly used as a cathodic corrosion inhibitor. Compared with inorganic polyphosphates, it has a higher corrosion inhibition efficiency, about 3 to 5 times higher. EDTMPS is miscible with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with good chemical stability and temperature resistance, and can maintain its scale inhibition effect even at high temperatures of 200 ℃. In aqueous solution, EDTMPS can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions, forming chelates with multiple metal ions, thereby disrupting the normal crystallization of calcium scale and exhibiting good scale inhibition effects on calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scales. The main uses of EDTMPS include as a corrosion and scale inhibitor for circulating water and boiler water, a chelating agent for cyanide free electroplating, a chelating agent for the textile printing and dyeing industry, and an ox
