 HEDP, known as 1-Hydroxy Ethylidene-1,1-Diphosphonic Acid, is an organophosphonic acid compound. It is mainly used as a water quality stabiliser and chelating agent, and is widely used in household and industrial applications.HEDP has the chemical formula C2H8O7P2 , and belongs to the phosphonate family, which can be further classified as a chelating agent, scale inhibitor, stabiliser and corrosion inhibitor.

What is the function of EDTMPS

 EDTMPS， Ethylenediamine tetramethylphosphonic acid sodium is a nitrogen-containing organic polybasic phosphonic acid mainly used as a cathodic corrosion inhibitor. Compared with inorganic polyphosphates, it has a higher corrosion inhibition efficiency, about 3 to 5 times higher. EDTMPS is miscible with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with good chemical stability and temperature resistance, and can maintain its scale inhibition effect even at high temperatures of 200 ℃.
